Mission in the fields of risks prevention :

In the Risks prevention field, Cerema proposes its experience on national and international scales throw bilateral, twinning or research projects. Cerema was involved these last years in two European Union Twinning projects on capacity building to implement Flood Directive, in Croatia and Turkey.
Recently, Cerema has leaded an explanatory mission on sustainable reconstruction in Serbia after the floods in May 2014.
Cerema also represents France within international normalization committee (ISO), Euro-codes development for buildings and infrastructures.
On sismic hazard field, Cerema takes part in the permanent accelerometric network and shares data with international experts.
